Billing

Cost per session?

  • Each session fee is $150 per 50 minute session.

  • The brief style 30 minute therapy is priced at $90 per session.

Do you accept insurance?

  • I do not accept insurance. There are several reasons for this, but is primarily due to client privacy, and the rules and regulations insurance companies implement when it comes to mental health care coverage (ie. how many sessions are allowed, needed diagnosis, and dictated therapy styles that are allowed to be used).

  • I don't accept insurance, but I do work with Mentaya, a platform that helps clients get money back on out-of-network therapy sessions. You can use the free benefit checker below to check if you qualify for out-of-network coverage.

  • If you qualify, Mentaya will file claims and handle the insurance paperwork to make sure you get reimbursed. They charge a 5% fee per claim and have helped people get thousands of dollars back per year. Note: Mentaya's goal is to save you time and money. It's completely optional, and as your therapist I do not benefit in any way from your participation.

How do I submit my payment for sessions?

  • Each client is required to have a credit card securely stored on file. After each session, that card will be charged. You can have multiple cards on file and you can add or remove a card at any time. HSA and FSA cards are also accepted and can be stored on file.

As an out-of-network provider, I do not work with insurances directly, though I have partnered with Mentaya to help my clients save money on therapy.

Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.

Under the law, in accordance with the No Surprises Act, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

  • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

  • Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

  • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

  • Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 800-985-3059.
